  • Abstract
    Cognitive radio (CR) technology can identifying the available spectrum resource through spectrum sensing, deciding on the optimal transmission times, and maintain maximum throughout of networks. The important functions is the medium access control (MAC) protocols. In this paper, we have research the design methods common control channel of CR MAC protocols. Which single channel and multi-channel MAC protocol of spectrum sensor access technology have discuss in detail. In the end, analyze and compare classics CR MAC protocols, The main challenges and future research directions are presented.
