Abstract
The influence of X-ray on imaging device such as CCD and the interaction effect between X-ray and imaging device are analyzed. It is indicated that the noise from X-ray radiations may be regarded as positive impulse which randomly distributes in space though the experiments. With the integration time and radiation energy increasing, the quantity and amplitude of the noise are enhanced as well. An adaptive diamond filter is presented for removing this kind of noise and compared with the recursive and non-recursive median filter through computer simulations and actual applications. It is shown that the filter presented is of the abilities that may remove impulse noise and protect edges and details more effectively.
