Abstract
The problem of stability is considered for satellite communication networks with demand assignment multiple access intended for voice communication and large data array transmission by means of FDMA or TDMA. The use of common channel signalling with random access of the “pure ALOHA” or “slotted ALOHA” type is assumed. For such networks the steady working conditions are shown to be different from from packet data transmission satellite networks using random access without the common channel signaling
