Preface

Welcome to the proceedings of the 2012 International Conference on Cloud and Service Computing (CSC 2012) held in Shanghai, China. CSC is becoming a premier conference that has brought together researchers and practitioners from academia, industry and governments to advance the theories and technologies of Cloud and Service Computing. The goal of CSC is to establish an international forum for researchers and practitioners to present their excellent ideas and experiences in all system fields of cloud and service computing. The main focus of CSC2012 was on the architecture, foundations, software, security, dependability, trust, quality, knowledge & data engineering, and business models of cloud and service computing. In total, the conference received more than 110 papers from researchers and practitioners. Each paper was reviewed by at least two internationally renowned referees and selected based on its originality, significance, correctness, relevance, and clarity of presentation. Among the high-quality submissions, only 36 regular papers were accepted by the conferences.
