  • Abstract
    This paper studies the reasoning of the Shannon formula in detail. It points out a promiscuous part in Shannon´s reasoning which results in the confliction with the UNB communication. After advancing an improved method and using it into the of VPSK, VMSK and VMSK/2 modulation of the UNB communication theory, we find that the result satisfies the improved Shannon formula.
