  • Abstract
Aiming at the problem of attribute reduction in rough set theory, the polarization matrix and relative degree are defined, and then, an approach to minimum attribute reduction is presented. The typical example of decision table shows that it is feasible and effective. In the oil-gas reservoir test, the approach to minimum attribute reduction is applied to optimize the seismic attributes with the notable application effect, which reaches the aim of prediction accuracy, saves cost, improves the processing speed and so on. Moreover, the approach combines the attribute reduction approach with the seismic attribute optimization approach organically, and establishes the foundation of seismic attribute optimization.
