  • Abstract
    It is a research hotspot to construct a distributed, multi-users shared 3D virtual environment on the Internet. In this way, multiple users in different geographical regions will share a real-time interactive virtual environment through Internet in simultaneous. Based on VRML and Java3D technology, this paper proposes an interactive means which constructs distributed 3D virtual environment, as well as a synchronization solution between the scene environment and user state. The means also gives a good guide to resolve existing problems in current distributed 3D virtual technology.
