  • Abstract
New media display methods in museums supported by new technologies are progressing fast and fast. A variety of high-tech projecting and touch-screen equipments are becoming more and more popular. New 3D display technology has come from theory to reality. Water-screen display and panoramic imaging system are also in development. Therefore current exhibitions in museums have much more options than before. It gradually transforms traditional exhibition format: ¿mysterious objects sealed in a lightened glass box¿. However, current interactive exhibition methods are so simple that audience participation and presence are not deep enough. So there is still much room for studying and developing new media display methods.
