  • Abstract
    Material machining often interrupted by various uncertainties, such as uncertain customer orders, delayed supplies, machine breakdown, absenteeism etc. The accurate description of the material process state is a must for the rearrangement of the job shop process schedule. This paper develops a modeling method of material process state based on production process. By defining material process state vector, the material process state is described with the value corresponding to the vector. To make this method applicable to computer calculation, material process state vector is divided into several parts, namely, material process state domain, and the corresponding value of each domain vector shows the material process state accurately. This new method ensures that even an unfinished procedure can be incorporated into the new job shop process schedule. It plays a very important role in the rearrangement of the job shop process schedule, the real-time track of the material process state and the management of the material.
