Abstract
Future wireless systems are expected to serve application areas ranging from offices to sparsely populated areas. A teletraffic model for calculating some performance variables should have a corresponding flexibility. We describe a performance model allowing the analyst to choose the level of detail when examining a system design. A simulation program has been developed in order to study the performance of such systems. One of our intentions with this simulation program is to gain some insight into the impact dynamic capacity allocation may have on the performance. An example is given and some observations are discussed
