Abstract
This paper summarizes an investigation of the practical bearing accuracy of airborne interferometric direction finding systems. The results of simulations and measurements of practical systems are compared. The performance of three sample systems of varying complexity are predicted. The paper concludes with a prediction of the maximum practical bearing accuracy achievable within the constraints of an airborne interferometer
