  • Abstract
Omitting subordinate factors which effect pile´s stiffness, pile-soil system is translated into single mass model without damping. An equation is established and the formula of pile´s stiffness is gained. From the admittance curve measured practically, some parameters can be got which are correlative to the length and stiffness of pile, and both value of the pile´s stiffness and bearing ability are gained subsequently. In addition, the value of the same pile´s length and stiffness can be figured out by static-load experiment, and the result is compared with that gained by machine admittance method. The comparison indicates that both results are consistent with each other. This study extends the application of machine admittance method in pile´s detection.
