  • Abstract
    An independent window-access (IWA) scheme is proposed, and several properties of an an input-buffered fast packet switching fabric with the IWA scheme are given and its performance is analyzed. The results obtained show that the IWA scheme has better performance than the traditional window-access scheme. The computer simulation results are seen to be in good agreement with the analytical results
