Abstract
Two international collaborative developments, involving the teaching of databases to international students, has provided a practical basis for this paper on internationalisation in databases. The conclusion drawn is that the curriculum, teaching and learning and online delivery are not likely to be significant issues in teaching databases internationally. An international distributed database has been implemented to enrich the learning experience. This raises further questions of the development of international content and learning resources on database courses.
