Abstract
This paper is concerned with the suboptimal estimation of the state of an nth order linear discrete time system when a predictive comparison scheme, namely, the floating aperture predictor has been used to compress the measurements. Derived is a sequentially partitioned algorithm which simultaneously processes the elements of the transformed measurement vector using n scalar approximate non-Gaussian filters.
