  • Abstract
    This paper presents the method of detecting wire position with alternating current by induction coil. The model of live wire magnetic field was described, and the relationship of height and horizontal distance of the electromagnetic sensor and magnetic field has been analysed with MATLAB. Through the analysis of the magnetic field model, inductance coil was selected as the electromagnetic sensor. Then the tracking features of dual-inductive electromagnetic sensor has been deduced and the tracking model was established. Finally, the layout scheme of dual-inductive electromagnetic sensor was identified according to a large number of experiments. The experimental results have indicated that the tracking model was approximately linearly related to the horizontal distance.
