Abstract
This study presents a set of security and emergency services derived from different satellite missions. Areas of application cover pre-frontier intelligence, critical assets monitoring and emergency mapping for emergency response. Security is a novel sphere for remote sensing: the launching of commercial sub-metric multispectral and radar missions has open operative horizons for satellite security applications over targets that, up to date, benefited from satellite observations to a limited extend.
