Abstract
This paper describes the design of an ultrafast optical processing (UOP) chip that will be used in a pulse shaping and holographic processing optical system. The UOP chip uses a new technology that combines the performance advantage of GaAs devices with the density advantage of conventional CMOS. Testing features of the UOP chip will also be presented
