Abstract
In this paper time stepping finite element (TSFE) method is applied for diagnosis of a mixed eccentricity fault in a voltage-fed induction motor. In addition, influence of load fluctuation upon the degree of the mixed eccentricity fault, magnetic field and torque of faulty motor are investigated. It is shown that decrease of load causes higher current harmonic components around fundamental component, while this was previously related to the low degree of the fault.
