Abstract
In order to explore the electrostatic decay characteristics of fuel tanks system filled with reticulated polyurethane foam, the small scale of "circular impingement" test is conducted. Through fitting the electrostatic voltage vs. time with the nonlinear least squares fitting, the parameters of the test formula are solved, and the empirical expression of electrostatic decay of fuel tanks system filled with reticulated polyurethane foam is concluded, which accords with classic exponential decay physical model fairly.
