Abstract
This paper describes the design and implementation of the IPv6 transition mechanism in the high speed router for next generation internet. We propose novel implementation architecture of IPv4 and IPv6 dual stack, IPv6 over IPv4 tunneling and DSTM mechanism in the next generation router. Also, we perform the performance evaluation for the proposed architecture. This result shows the efficient and extensive improvement.
