Abstract
In this paper, we design and implement AWSC (All Ways Stop Control) service as a safety control system using magnetic sensor network at non-signalized intersections. The designed ASWC system consists of magnetic sensor network to detect vehicle movement and speed, a service station to control display devices and to provide some warning messages to drivers and pedestrians. We show effectiveness of the designed system by installing and operating it at a real testbed site.
