  • Abstract
    We review recent advances in the generation, detection, and transmission of high-speed optical multi-carrier signals, with particular emphasis on the use of optical orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) based multi-carrier modulation for high-spectral-efficiency optical transmission towards 1-Tb/s per-channel data rate.
