  • Abstract
There is a need for a modeling approach that integrates simulation with human interaction and optimization to exploit the analyst´s ability in addressing difficult to quantify issues while utilizing computer models and algorithms to perform complex computations in systems analysis. In this paper, we present an approach that integrates human interaction with simulations and genetic algorithms for the repair-time analysis problem in airbase logistics. We present the integrated approach along with the computer system implementation, and evaluation in the context of a realistic repair time analysis problem
