  • Abstract
Aiming at the deficiency in automatically acquiring assembly interference matrix, new methods for interference detection based on feature sample points was proposed. To improving efficiency of interference detection, the bounding box was utilized to eliminate the components which cannot interfere. The proposed method was utilized to interference detection. Therefor the part that demands on detection based on solid CAD model was greatly reduced. The process of automatic acquisition interference matrix was given in detail. Finally, prototype system was developed based on UG platform, and the effectiveness of this method was verified by a stop valve assembly model.
