Abstract
This paper deals with some actual projects of regional revitalization, here a regional revitalization project is a project to activate the local economy, to enrich people´s lives, or to activate the feelings of the people, by new initiatives. The paper analyzes the agenda-setting in the project and approaches to achieving the task from the viewpoint of knowledge creation and systems thinking. By reference to some knowledge creation models and techniques developed mainly in the field of management, this paper will propose a knowledge creation system for regional revitalization, and then introduce some actual revitalization projects considered by this knowledge creation system.
