Abstract
In this paper a new pulse width modulation (PWM) technique, based on the Walsh functions, to obtain higher performances than those obtained using classical PWM, is presented. We have started from the theoretical paper of F. Swift and A. Kamberis (see IEEE Trans. Power Electron., vol.8, 1993), and have obtained a computing algorithm. This algorithm was used to realize a three phase inverter driven with an IBM computer. The performances of the inverter thus obtained, was checked using the practical implementation and also with PSpice simulation
