  • Abstract
    Software testing is the key of guaranteeing software quality, but the generation of testing data is one of the key steps which has a great effect on the automation of software testing, therefore the generation of testing data is relating the quality of software production indirectly. This article has analysed the basic principle of genetic algorithm on software testing detailedly, and on this basis, this article has improved the basic genetic algorithm and has put forward the automatic testcase generation functions based on improved genetic algorithm. At last, it contrast the improved genetic algorithm used in this article with the basic genetic algorithm by experiment analyse. It has proved that the improved genetic algorithm is superior to the basic genetic algorithm on effectiveness and efficiency of automatic testcase generation.
