Abstract
The surface conditions of hand skins for different age groups are analyzed with the multi-spectral images of the skin under the polarized light illumination and detection. The analysis reveals that the number of flares on the skin increases with ages. The flares become more distinctive with the polarized light and the spectral image enhances the flares. The method can be used to study the skin aging with ages and to identify various skin signs having dermatological importance.
