  • Abstract
    The platform is the landmark area in subway space. At present, the guiding design for way-finding in subway space is becoming more and more perfect, while the research on guiding design of subway platform is far from enough. Due to dense population and the growing tendency in indiscrimination of space layout, the traditional signage can´t adapt to the more complex underground transport environment. Based on the analysis on existing problems of guiding design of subway platform, the environmental attribution of the platform space and the character of behavior, the guiding design methods of subway platform are proposed. The purpose is to enhance the identification of the platform and further improve guiding design of subway space.
