Abstract
Recently, new services based on a real-time information related with human activities have become available over the Internet. An infrastructure of such a service must be able to accommodate a large number of real-time content distributions and must allow the subscribers to start receiving the desired contents quickly. In this study, a new content distribution system using peer-to-peer technologies is proposed in order to satisfy these requirements. Especially, the system adopts a location-aware server selection with a network coordinates system. A realistic computer simulation shows that the system achieves real-time locating of the desired contents without degrading end-to-end streaming delay of contents.
