Abstract
Collaboration in multi-language learning involves individuals as group members along with activities like knowledge sharing that are accomplished interactively in group processes. Recent scientific literature has shown that computer-supported collaborative learning may lead to expected learning outcomes. Placing students in situations where they need to engage in effortful interactions to build a shared understanding, fully integrated in pedagogical scenarios, is a significant activity of our system. In conjunction with collaboration, our system offers adaptivity to students´ needs via the student modeler. The collaborative activity is designed to support teaching in groups and is intended to create inter-dependencies among students through the error diagnosis component. Activity and tools are designed for teaching multiple languages in an interactive environment where advice from system and group members promote the educational procedure. Our long-term wiki-based collaborative activity ameliorates the tutoring of multiple languages, given that the students may benefit from their peers.
