Abstract
Current mobile devices are equipped with several network interfaces, which may be of different access technologies such as WLAN, WiMAX, UMTS etc. Different wireless networks can cooperate with each other, if their coverage areas overlap, in order to improve service quality. Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP) is used to provide multiple connections to different networks with the support of multi-interfaces and multi-homing. In this paper we provide the results from the analysis of VoIP application using SCTP multi-homing in NS2. Analyzed parameters are end-to-end delay, throughput and packet loss for voice packets and impact of number of VoIP connections on throughput and delay.
