  • Abstract
Among the numerous methods used for investigating the cardiovascular system, the Doppler technique is of particular importance position. This is due to the non invasive (transcutaneous probes) or low invasive (transoesophagcal probes) approach it provides. The pulsed Doppler method has played a major role in the development of the Doppler technique, when used alone or preferably in combination with the echographic technique. The paper deals with some aspects of my contribution in this field.
