Abstract
In distributed converter topology, where each phase leg is controlled by a separate module controller, there is an inherent delay in daisy-chained and ring-type structures. This creates a synchronization problem in data acquisition and implementation of pulse width modulation (PWM). Waveforms that predict the effect of the delay and help define system requirements are presented
