  • Abstract
It should be understood that the robot is not a simple automatic machine, but instead has a certain level of intelligence. Many kinds of intelligent robots have been developed in the author´s laboratory during the past 15 years. These robots perform many kinds of games like the cup and ball game, top-spinning, walking on stilts, etc. These robots apparently look intelligent, but are they really and truly intelligent? There is one opinion that these robots are no more than simple automatic machines which are controlled by a computer with sophisticated programs. If so, then what is actual robot intelligence? The author is trying to construct a new robotics-insect-model based microrobotics-in order to get a new concept of robot intelligence
