Transformer´s noise measurements using sound pressure method

New solutions in construction of transformers in recent years have made the transformers to be seen as modern products whose service life is more than 40 years. However customer´s requirements in terms of transformer´s noise are increasing and they are sometimes even stricter compared to the standard which prescribes the allowed values of transformer´s noise considering environmental protection. This paper presents the results of transformer´s noise measurements using sound pressure method, which are carried out in factory ABS Minel Transformers in Ripanj.
