Abstract
A modification of the Self Orthogonalizing FxLMS (SOFxLMS) algorithm in order to further improve the convergence speed in terms of the white noise is proposed. Modified SOFxLMS eliminate the secondary path delay which allows the usage of larger algorithm step size and the faster convergence. The higher convergence speed is achieved at cost of increasing the computational complexity of the algorithm. Simulation results confirm the improvement of the MSOFxLMS over the SOFxLMS and the other algorithms discussed in this paper.
