  • Abstract
The key to increasing the modified radiowave refraction precision is to acquire an accurate atmospheric profile. In this paper, we present a modified atmospheric model algorithm referring to the atmospheric reference model given by ITU-R. Based on this, and incorporating it with the set of recent five years profiles in a given area of China, we give statistics of the meteorologic parameters which most fit the atmospheric environment of China.
