Abstract
The flexibility of a two-parameter feedback scheme is used to solve the finite settling time stabilization (FSTS) problem for MIMO discrete-time systems. A complete parametrization of the family of all FSTS controllers is obtained through the use of two independent free polynomial matrices. Based on this parametrization the problems of FST tracking and FST disturbance rejection are treated independently of each other by tuning the two free parameters
