  • Abstract
The functional role of oscillatory activities in human information processing has been intensely investigated under various normal and pathological brain states. In order to explore more information about function and coordination of different oscillations in Stroop interference effect, an integrated method which combined power difference and phase synchronization in the time-frequency domain was applied to the study of color word Stroop task. Based on the traditional ERPs analyses, it was found that event induced theta and alpha oscillations played an important role in interference, especially the theta oscillation and its intensive synchronization among the posterior net. Through the integration of the time course, oscillation, power and connectivity information using an integrated method, it may provide a basis for future studies to reveal the underlying neural processes and neural networks associated with interference effects.
