  • Abstract
    WDM Transmission using PDM-8QAM-OFDM and PDM-16QAM-OFDM modulations over 10,181km have been successfully demonstrated with spectral efficiency of 4-b/s/Hz and 4.7-b/s/Hz. High QAM modulation format has become a strong candidate for future submarine systems.
