  • Abstract
Within the software industry software piracy is a great concern. In this article, this issue is addressed through a prevention technique called software watermarking. The watermarking schema can be used for protecting the software written in jME API. A program is marked by hiding the copyright in a scene graph. According to a secret initial order of scene graph traversal, a secret message is embedded through circular-left shift operation and a numbering system. Furthermore, the embedding and extraction technique is discussed in detail, and evaluated against a variety of attacks. The algorithm is evaluated against a variety of attacks. The method does not change the size of scene graph, and the embedded watermarks are more robust because disturbing the watermark would affect the semantic and the functionality of the underlying software.
