  • Abstract
The aim of this study is the evaluation of measurements of the monophasic action potential (MAP) with fractally coated leads. In contrast to usual Ag/AgCl electrodes, fractally coated leads guarantee biocompatibility and long-term stability of their electrical properties. Therefore, this new type of electrode fulfills the requirements for implantation and long-term monitoring of the MAP. Neurohumoral influences on the heart were detected by analyzing MAP durations
