  • Abstract
In order to detect and localize abnormal radionuclide fixation points, the authors have developed a nuclear imaging device suitable for peroperative use. The probe is composed of 25 CdTe detectors and the electronics for detection and count measurement are based on an ASIC. The whole device is linked to a microcomputer which realizes acquisition, visualization of the image and data storage. The reliability of the authors´ miniature camera was assessed by laboratory tests (β and γ spectrometry and sensitivity)
