Abstract
Arbitrary phase waveform power converters by means of PWM operations are proposed together with experimental results. From frequency spectra of the PWM operation signals calculated by double Fourier series expansions, basic characteristics are presented. The power converters are available for use in relatively low frequencies and can be utilized as a high-power phase controllers or as ultra-low frequency variable-phase signal generators
