  • Abstract
    With the rapid developing of the 2.5G/3G cellular mobile communication network and the increasing of its bandwidth, the wireless video information transmission can be achieved by using the public cellular network. This makes it possible to provide low-cost wireless video surveillance system for the distribution electric power substations. Based on the embedded high performance digital media processor platform, one low-cost wireless video surveillance system is developed in this paper, which is used for the substation to implement the wireless visual monitoring.
