Abstract
The pole placement in singular systems via state feedback controller is examined via the theory of MFD´s (Matrix Fraction Descriptions). The difference between the present and existing works on the subject is that they use the time domain model rather than the generalized transfer function. It is shown that realization procedures are simple and easy to compute, since no decomposition algorithm is needed. Instead, the division theorem for polynomial matrices is needed.
