Abstract
A novel polarization-independent flat-top comb filter using variable ratio coupler (VRC)-based Mach-Zehnder interferometer is demonstrated. By adjusting the coupling ratios, the multiwavelength switchable flat-top operation is obtained. Theoretical prediction is verified by the experimental results.
