Abstract
In this paper, an improved Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) based robust delay dependent state feedback stabilizing criterion is developed for an uncertain continuous-time system with norm-bounded-type uncertainties and time-varying delay. To address these issues, a suitable Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional is chosen and free-weighting matrix variable approach is employed. Finally, numerical examples are presented to show the improvement in robustness using the proposed approach.
